Margje Schuurman

Margje Schuurman(b. 1988) grew up in Indonesia and the Dutch Province of Overijssel. She graduated from Art Academy Minerva in Groningen, the Netherlands. After her studies she has participated in several art projects and shown her work at a number of festivals. Schuurman makes installations, sculptures, drawings and paper cuttings. Sometimes she combines these media as is the case in New Eyes. Her work is characterized by multiple layers and often leaves room for various interpretations. www.margjeschuurman.nl
