Esther Augsburger

Esther Augsburger (born 1930) graduated from Eastern Mennonite College and James Madison University in art education and art. Estherserved as a member of the Mennonite Board of Missions. In 1991 she curated an art exhibition by international Christian artists sponsored by the International Christian Media Commission in Sheffield, England.In 1993 Esther organized and convened a conference for Christians in Art at Mittersill, Austria, for Eastern and Western European artists. This conference now occurs every two years. She was also instrumental in the organization of the International Artists' Conferences in Moscow in 1996 and in Sophia, Bulgaria in 2008.
