Malmö:
- Sankt Petri Kyrka, large medieval church with old murals.
 
Linköping:
- Cathedral from the 13th century. In the middle of the cathedral an imposing 20th-century artwork of the resurrected Christ from the Norwegian artist Henrik Sörensen. Furthermore a 16th-century triptych of Maerten van Heemskerk. Also a great 22-part Maria-window of Lisa Bauer and Lars Börnesson and a Tree of Life sculpture from 1997 created by Carl Gustav Jahnsson, Jan Ostwald en Torbjorn Vogt – the tree has 153 leaves and various kinds of fruit to symbolize virtues.
 
Stockholm:
- Statens Historiska Museum. Sweden's Museum of National Antiquities traces more than 12,000 years of the nation's history from the Stone Age to the 16th century. Its most famous attraction is the Gold Room, which houses magnificent silver and gold treasures found in Swedish soil from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages. The Viking exhibit features a unique collection of artifacts from the Viking period, whilst the museum also houses one of the world's finest and best preserved collections of medieval religious art.

- Nationalmuseum. Nationalmuseum is Sweden’s premier museum of art and design. The collections comprise older paintings, sculpture, drawings and graphic art, and applied art and design up to the present day. - Church of Engelbrekt built in 1914, in art nouveau style.
 
Täby:
- Church with fresoes of 66 biblical scenes by Albertus Pictor (1440-1509).
 
Tibble:
- Church with windows (1965-1978) by Mogens Jørgensen.
 
 Uppsala:
- Medieval cathedral, with exhibitions. This is the largest church of Sweden, with 19th-century medieval-like tapestries.
- The Treasury, housed in the north tower of Uppsala Cathedral, is a museum with one of the world's finest collections of medieval textiles, Queen Christina's golden chalice and King Gustav Vasa's funeral regalia.
