Krakow:
- Diocesal museum, Krakow with one of the best collections of Gothic art in the country. Highlights include three large fifteenth-century triptychs from St Leonard's Church in Lipnica Murowana; a lovely painting of a white-robed St Catherine of Alexandria from Biecz; and an elegant set of fourteenth- and fifteenth-century wooden pietà. There's also a rich collection of nineteenth-century religious folk art.
Tarnow:
- Diocesal Museum Tarnow, the oldest diocesan museum in Poland (founded in 1888). Gothic sculpture and paintings from Małopolska region, representing the School of Cracow and Sącz. The second part includes the church textiles from the Middle Ages till the 19th century.
